Open Gym Dates: Jan 13, Jan 27, Feb 10 and Feb 24 3-5pm; pitching from 4-5pm
Clinic the Document/Link below for additional details.
We are a non profit organization focused on growing the girls fastpitch softball program in Northfield.
We offer a traveling league for competitive players in the spring/summer and for a brief 6 week season in the fall. We also offer a developmental In House program for Kindergarten thru 3rd graders in the Spring.
A player’s age on December 31, 2017 determines that player’s age classification:
Parents will need to submit a check for the $100 Volunteer Fee, per player, at the first coach’s meeting. Families must complete 5 volunteer hours, per player. Once the 5 hours are completed, the check will be destroyed. If a family chooses not to complete the 5 hours, the check will be cashed by July 31st. Volunteer hours can be completed by family members 18 years of age and older. Players are welcome to help with concession stand shift but may not work alone.
2018 registration will include player skill assessments on Sunday, March 18th from 1- 4 p.m. at the Dundas Dome. Skill assessments are necessary for player safety as well as ongoing development of multiple levels of play. It is our hope that everyone will get to play but it is possible that some players might not make a team. In that unfortunate event, those players will be refunded registration fees minus any processing fees.
Custom jerseys will be provided for players to keep at the end of the season. Jerseys may be purchased each year, if families want to however it is our intent the jerseys will last 2 seasons. Participants need to provide socks, black pants, helmet with chin strap/cage, and glove. Fielding masks are not required, but are highly recommended for safety.
The NFSA will provide funding for up to two tournaments per team. It is at the discretion of the Head Coach to determine if a team will play in tournament beyond the normal schedule. The Tri County State Qualifier Tournament and the State Tournament are also included in the registration fee. If a team would like to attend a National Tournament, this must be paid for by the parents/players of the team.
• Equal playing time in not guaranteed. Over the course of the regular season, each player will get a fair and ample amount of playing time. Coaches have the authority to limit playing time if a player has absences from games and/or practice.
• If a player is going to miss any game or practice, the player or a family member must notify the coach in advance. Failure to do so may result in a loss of playing time.
• The State Qualifier and State Tournaments follow strict ASA rules which restrict substitutions on the line-up card. These rules may result in reduced playing time for some players as the coaches use their best judgement to field the most competitive team.
PAY IN FULL: Submit total player fees online today upon conclusion of this online registration session via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account.
PAYMENT PLAN: Fees are divided into 2 equal installments with the first half to be collected online today upon conclusion of this registration session via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account. The remaining balance will be automatically debited from the SAME ACCOUNT on March 16, 2018.
