The Cannon Valley Renegades program was established in 2020 to provide an affordable club softball option in the southeast metro, where options were very limited.
We have our own facilities in Northfield, MN and utilize the Dundas Dome for offseason opportunities.
Northfield Softball association is proud to offer winter training opportunities for 12U softball players. Several athletes are already enrolled but, we still have room for a few more. See below information and contact register if your daughter is interested.
We are proud to advertise that trainings will be coached by Jillian Noel. Jillian is a Northfield alum and a member of the Northfield Raiders 2019 Softball State Championship team. Jillian has recently graduated with her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from SMSU. While attending SMSU Jillian played collegiate softball; she had an impressive college career and received several accolades.

We will have two high school level teams for the 2024-2025 season, which runs from September 1st, 2024 through July 31st, 2025. Our programs will include one out of state tournament, with the rest being local to Minnesota.
The program will include the following:
All athletes from any community entering 9th grade and up for the 2024-2025 school year are eligible to try out.

We are expanding our program to include the 14U age level in 2024-2025! The season will run from September 1st, 2024, through July 31st, 2025. This program will play all Minnesota based tournaments.

We’re looking for paid coaches to teach, guide, and share their love of the game with our players. If you have experience as a player or a coach, we’d love to have you involved. We also prioritize hiring current and former female college athletes who have experience playing both at the level they are coaching and collegiate softball.
For our CV Renegades teams, we strive to have paid, non-parent coaches. If you are interested in this type of position please apply!

Mission
Our mission is to offer a competitive club softball experience to young athletes in our regional area at reduced cost and travel. We emphasize both athletic and personal growth in our athletes.
Playing Multiple Sports
We encourage and facilitate multisport athletes, and believe strongly that it creates better softball players. While we expect our athletes to make softball a priority in the summer season, we offer flexible and optional offseason activities to allow athletes to participate at a high level in other sports.
Coaching
We hire paid coaches for all teams in the Renegades program. We also strongly emphasize hiring current and former female college athletes who have experience playing both at the level they are coaching and collegiate softball. We believe creating opportunities for former players is an important aspect to the health of softball.
