Mission Statement

Learn. Play. Compete

The Northfield Fastpitch Softball Associations provides fastpitch playing opportunities to girls, ages 6-16, who live in Northfield and/or attend Independent School District 659. Our association is dedicated to meeting the needs of our teams, coaches, sponsors and community. The NFSA strives to promote continued development and growth to our players.

The NFSA is committed to developing softball players for the Northfield High School Softball programs. Our organization fosters team participation and develops athletes to be good leaders, students, citizens, and team players.

The NFSA provides fun, recreational and competitive softball environment for girls. We seek to develop fastpitch softball players; not only in terms of their skills, but also build their self-esteem and self-confidence.

We strive to represent our community well by providing fair, positive and enjoyable experiences for all of the players and adults involved. We strive to develop every player’s softball abilities, teach teamwork through positive reinforcement and prepare girls for the next level of softball.

The NFSA is organized and administered by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, which consists of volunteers who are committed to providing a positive, age-appropriate, competitive experience for all who participate in our programs. Each year, the NFSA Board works to organize and administer registrations, team formation, practices, games and facility maintenance.

Volunteers are at the heart of our success. If you are interested in volunteering as a potential member of the NFSA Board of Directors or in some other capacity for next season, please email admin@northfieldfastpitch.org.
